On the Rise: Building a pipeline of talent into the real estate industry

Porter wanted to take actionable steps toward changing the real estate industry for the better. The biggest challenge they wanted to dismantle was the high barrier to entry into the industry. In partnership with YouthCare Seattle, Porter launched On the Rise—a program that immerses young people from historically excluded communities into the world of commercial real estate. 

The Noir team created an award-winning video campaign geared towards raising awareness and funding for the On the Rise program while simultaneously recruiting program volunteers to bring their expertise into the classroom and build a pipeline of talent directly into the real estate industry.

Our video work with Porter, YouthCare, and the On the Rise program was recognized at the 2024 Cascadia Creative Awards, earning us the Silver Award for Best Purpose-Led/ Social Impact Creativity
